Kozhikode Beach 2020

Kozhikode Beach is where the locals come to hang out and you will know exactly why when you head here. The sight of the placid waters of the sea and the relatively clean beach is a big draw not just for tourists but also the local population. Incidentally this shore has witnessed several historic events like pitched naval battles and the arrival of ships from far off areas. This is also the place that has seen several senior national leaders including the likes of Mahatma Gandhi, Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, Indira Gandhi and Krishna Menon making public speeches. What caught my eyes when I came here were the two dilapidated piers that can be seen extending into the sea.

  • Measurable (meaningful, motivating).
  • Achievable (agreed, attainable).
  • Relevant (reasonable, realistic and resourced, results-based).
  • Time-based (time-based, time limited, time/cost limited, timely, time-sensitive).

Few Goals:

  1. Read 20 books and share key highlights.
  2. Volunteer for atleast 20×20 hours of my time.
  3. Go on 20 fun adventures .
  4. Visit 20 museums/ attractions with my family.
  5. Start a new Hobby in 2020 – Try sprinkling in new habits and routines across the entire year to help make 2020  more successful.

Having hobbies is a great way to reduce stress, explore your talents, and even bring in some extra income. So making goals in this arena is an important way to make the best use of your time in life.

Keep in mind that your SMART goals should be so specific that you can’t really read someone else’s example of one and apply it directly to your life. You have your own unique career, health and financial needs, relationships, etc.–so your SMART goals will not be identical to anyone else’s. However, we can look at some examples of goals that you can set in the new year and tailor into SMART goals for your unique situation in these seven areas of your life to improve your wellbeing.
