Olive ridley turtles were seen nesting in Odisha’s Rushikulya rookery and Gahirmatha Beach. While their visits are not uncommon, it was unusual to see them nesting during the day. This phenomenon occurred in the state after seven long years. Thanks to you #HeroesFromHome.

Hundreds of Olive Ridley sea turtles have arrived for nesting at Odisha’s Gahirmatha Beach and Rushikulya Rookery, the most preferred nesting grounds of the turtles.
